| Bakewells is a long established family business. Started selling radios in 1950 and has developed into Penrith's leading electrical retailer, offering most leading makes including Sony, Panasonic, Bosch and Blomberg. Located within the heart of Penrith and only three minutes walk from the Penrith 'New Squares' car park, Bakewells is easy to find. Should you find yourself with your hands full after a purchase, you can make use of the convenient loading area located directly in front of the store. However, we also bundle a full delivery and installation service which is often offered free of charge should you need it. | Our highly rated sales team is backed up by our equally competent service department. Our Queen Street repair workshop sits on the site of the original Sidney Bakewells motor garage. Over the years the store evolved to rent and service radios and then televisions. As the business grew, so did the need for space and ultimately the Market Square premises were acquired, where the sale portion of the business moved. The both stores work together to provide a comprehensive repair service across the county. Most electrical and electronic items are considered for repair. Just drop in or give us a call! |  |

To compliment our sizable AV selection we have a selection of domestic appliances from all
the major manufactures. Installation is available on many items and we can take your old
washing machines, tumble driers, dishwashers and cookers away for recycling.
As our stock comes from one of the largest buying groups in Europe we have access to a large variety
of models, available within a week if we don't already have it stock. This buying group also
gives us the ability to be competitive with the larger stores. When it comes to domestic
appliances we can offer service and value!
